This simple, organic recipe works well around pools, sidewalks, and hardscaping. </span> </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> <strong> Mix together: </strong> </p> <ul> <li> <span> 1 gallon of 30% white vinegar (available at most home improvement stores) </span> </li> <li> <span> 1 tablespoon of dish soap </span> </li> <li> <span> 1 cup of salt </span> </li> <li> <span> ½ bottle of lemon juice (for added effect) </span> </li> </ul> <p> <br/> </p> <p> <span> Pour into a clean spray bottle and apply directly to weeds. You’ll see them crinkle and disappear— naturally and safely. </span> </p> </div> <div data-rss-type="text"> <h3> <strong> Early Fall Planning Tips </strong> </h3> </div> <div data-rss-type="text"> <p> <span> Autumn is the perfect time to prepare your property for cooler months and set the stage for healthy growth next year: </span> </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> <strong> Fall Planting </strong> <span>  — Transplant, reseed, and reestablish turf or trees now for stronger root systems and higher success rates. </span> </p> <p> <strong> Tree Health </strong> <span>  — Prune out dead or compromised branches to improve air flow and reduce the risk of storm damage. </span> </p> <p> <strong> Fire Safety </strong> <span>  — With late-season droughts, take care when using barbecues, lawn equipment, or fire pits. Always refuel on solid ground and keep a fire extinguisher nearby. </span> </p> </div> <div data-rss-type="text"> <h3> <strong> Bee Garden Relocation </strong> </h3> </div> <div data-rss-type="text"> <p> <span> One of our Bayonne clients needed to relocate two bee gardens we installed last year. The change came after the city requested access behind their office building to build a new sidewalk connection to the pier for the upcoming ferry commute to NYC. To meet this need, Hewson Landscape stepped in to manage the project from start to finish. </span> </p> <p> <br/> </p> <p> <span> A new bed was prepared about ¼ mile down the road. The two established bee gardens were carefully dug up and relocated.
